Marketing for accountants that wins clients and tames the paperwork
We build your site and local SEO so small businesses and families looking for tax help understand what you handle and contact you, and for larger client bases we build a portal to upload documents and see deadlines.
For CPAs with a steady client base that want to grow without more hours spent chasing paperwork

On October 25, 2026 we reviewed 12 independent practices in five U.S. metros. One did not load. We measured the other 11 against 6 basic checks: a meta description, a single main heading (H1), a mobile-friendly layout, a secure connection (HTTPS), Google Analytics and business structured data.
1of 11
Pass all 6 basic checks Miss at least one
9 of 11have no Google Analytics or Tag Manager, so they cannot tell how many inquiries the site brings.
9 of 11have no tap-to-call phone link, so a mobile visitor has to copy the number by hand.
7 of 11have no main heading (H1) or more than one.
6 of 11have no business structured data, which helps Google and AI tools understand what you do and where.

Marketing for accountants: what a firm’s website needs
Marketing for accountants pays off when the site does two jobs: it convinces people looking for tax help, and it saves your team hours with the clients you already have. A new business owner or a family with a complicated return wants to know whether you handle their situation and how working with you looks.
One page per service (individual returns, small business tax, payroll, bookkeeping) that explains what is included and what to bring.
Your credentials in plain view: the IRS urges taxpayers to check who they hire, and every paid preparer needs a PTIN.
For a large client base, a custom portal where each client uploads documents, sees upcoming deadlines and downloads returns and invoices.
A tap-to-call phone link, missing on 9 of the 11 sites we checked.
A Google Business Profile with the right category, hours and service area.
The plan
Marketing for accountants: the full plan, with a published price
A new site and local SEO in one plan: each service you offer gets its own page, built for people searching for tax help in your area.
What partners tell us
"Clients send tax forms by email, text and blurry photos. Every month we lose days chasing paperwork and reminding people of due dates one by one, and there is no time left to find new clients."

For a solo practitioner: a site of up to 6 pages with your services, your credentials in view and an inquiry form, ready in 2 to 3 weeks.
Verigoodlife: every purchase delivered with no manual steps
We rebuilt the WordPress and WooCommerce store of a health and nutrition coaching brand: what people buy is delivered automatically, with no manual steps. It is the same idea we would apply to document collection and monthly reminders.
Software built around how your firm works, on and off the site
When a template falls short, we build it. Tools connected to your site or internal panels, so your team stops doing by hand what a system can do.
On the site
Client document portal
Paperwork arriving by email and text, scattered and late
A private area where each client uploads documents, sees upcoming deadlines and downloads returns and invoices.
On the site
Onboarding checklist
Incomplete new-client setups that delay the work
A guided intake that asks for data and files by client type and creates the client record in your system.
Off the site
Deadline reminders by client
Clients who forget to pay and a team that reminds them one by one
Automatic email or text reminders based on each client’s filings and due dates.
Off the site
Invoice and receipt reader
Hours of manual data entry at year end
Takes PDF invoices, extracts the data and leaves it ready to import into your accounting software.
Already built
The Novo Tour package builder
For a travel agency we replaced an expensive booking system with a panel inside WordPress: each trip is added with a form and published with no developer involved. The same logic gives each client a record with filing type, deadlines and documents, added from a simple form.
Circular 230 §10.30 bars anyone who practices before the IRS from false, fraudulent, coercive, misleading or deceptive advertising or solicitation. State boards add their own rules: in Texas, 22 TAC §501.82 bars any false, misleading or deceptive statement or claim. The FTC rule on reviews also bans fake or AI-generated reviews, so we ask clients for reviews openly and never write them.
Credentials matter to the client too. The IRS urges taxpayers to understand who they are hiring, and every paid preparer must have a PTIN. If you serve Hispanic business owners, there is room to grow: the Census Bureau counts 496,000 Hispanic-owned employer firms, 8.4% of the total (reference year 2023), and 13.0% of people in accounting, tax and payroll services are Hispanic or Latino (2025 average).
How we work with CPA firms

2

We define which services to show, which pages you need and what the inquiry form asks.
3

We build or redesign the site in dated stages and complete your Google Business Profile.
4
Monthly measurement
We count inquiries, which service they came from and which searches you won, then decide the next step with numbers.
Questions before hiring us
The ones partners and solo practitioners ask us.
How much does the plan cost for my firm?
The site costs USD 4,500 to 6,500, paid once, and local SEO costs USD 900 to 1,400 per month. If you have a large client base and want a custom portal, that build starts at USD 10,000. We confirm the final number after the diagnosis, which takes 2 business days and is included.
How long does it take?
A site of up to 6 pages is ready in 2 to 3 weeks. A site of up to 15 pages, bilingual if you need it, is delivered in stages, each with its own date.
Is there a minimum commitment?
The monthly plan has a 3-month minimum. The site is paid 50% upfront and 50% on delivery. Combining two monthly plans gets you 5% off.
Should my site be in English and Spanish?
If you serve Hispanic business owners, it is worth it: the Census Bureau counted 496,000 Hispanic-owned employer businesses in the U.S. (reference year 2023). Site That Sells includes a bilingual version when you need it, with each language on its own pages.
What do you need from me to start?
Your credentials, the list of services and client types you handle, how files reach you today, and access to your Google profile and domain if you already have them.
Can it connect to Karbon or the software we already use?
The public site does not need to touch your practice software. If you add the custom portal, it can leave client data and files ready for the system you use: during the diagnosis we check what Karbon or your current software accepts.
Want to talk about your firm?
