Chapter 1
An ordinary Thursday at your firm.
A site visit, a stop at the building department, an afternoon of drawing. By evening, none of the day’s inquiries has moved forward.
-
8:40 AMWebsite form Roughly how much does it cost to design a house?
You’re on a site visit. At lunch you reply asking about the lot and square footage. No answer.
-
10:20 AMInstagram Love the kitchen remodel. Do you handle permits too?
Your profile shows photos but not how you work. She asks a firm whose site explains it.
-
1:30 PMMissed call We just closed on a house and want to start this spring.
You’re at the building department. When you call back, they have a meeting with another firm.
-
4:15 PMIn a meeting Could you sketch something before we commit?
You draw a quick concept to win the job. It ends up with a cheaper drafter.
-
6:00 PMEnd of day 4 inquiries. None moved forward.
Tomorrow starts the same way.
None of them were bad clients. They just found someone who explained the process first.
Chapter 2
Meanwhile, on the other side of the screen.
Jessica is 39 and just bought a 1960s ranch house. She wants a bigger kitchen and one more bedroom, and she has heard every remodel horror story. This is how she looks for you:
She searches on GoogleFrom the couch, at 10:30 PM. She sees three firms nearby.
She opens your siteShe wants to see work like hers and what each phase includes. She finds a gallery with no context and an email address.
She goes backThe firm next door shows similar projects and explains every phase. You never hear about it.

Chapter 3
The same night, with your new site.
Jessica runs the same search. This time, your site shows her projects like hers and how you work.
She finds you for what she needsShe lands on your home additions page, not your home page.
She gets her answersShe sees real work, who will lead her project and what each phase includes. The fear eases.
She reaches out at 11:15 PMFrom the couch. In the morning you have everything you need for a first meeting.

That’s what we do: the homeowner who searches at night ends up in your inbox, not the firm next door’s.

Marketing for architects that brings the projects you want to design
Clients come in worried the project will blow past budget, and your best work sits on Instagram, where Google can’t see it. We build your new site and work your Google profile so they find you, understand your process and reach out.

Sound familiar?
What architecture firm owners tell us.
What we hear from small firms, and what a new site changes.
-
“Clients are scared the project will blow past budget and schedule”
What it costs youDesign firms say total project cost is the concern clients raise most before moving forward (Houzz, 2025). That means extra meetings and projects pushed to next year.
What changes with your new siteFinished projects with location, square footage and before and after photos, plus a page that explains what the client gets in each phase. -
“I do a free sketch and the client takes it to someone cheaper”
What it costs youHours of design given away. “Almost every time I’ve done a free sketch the client has taken it to someone cheaper,” one architect wrote in an industry forum (Reddit, 2025).
What changes with your new siteYour site explains what each phase includes and how the first meeting works before anyone calls. Clients who know that compare less on price. -
“People ask what a house costs and I never hear back”
What it costs youMeetings and site visits with tire kickers that never turn into a project.
What changes with your new siteA page for each type of project and a form that asks for project type, square footage, location and whether they own the lot. A fee estimator that returns a range is a separate system. -
“My portfolio lives on Instagram and nobody finds me on Google”
What it costs youPeople searching Google never see your photos. And the account isn’t yours: in 2026 Meta reported 20,225 Instagram accounts stolen through a flaw in its recovery system (TechRadar, 2026).
What changes with your new siteA portfolio you own, with a page per project that Google can show and you can update. Instagram still works, pointing to your site.

A custom site case study
Broadwayfina: 61 musicals, each with its own page
For a musical theatre outlet we built a custom site where every musical has its own page and every theatre has directions. It’s the same base we would use to give each finished project its own page, with photos, square footage and location.

- 61
- musicals, each with its own page
- 64
- theatres with directions
- 2 weeks
- from kickoff to live site

Marketing for architects: questions before you hire us
The ones principals and partners ask most.
How much does it cost?
We set the price after the diagnosis, which is included and takes 2 business days, based on how many projects and project types you want to show. The site is billed 50% up front and 50% on delivery, and the monthly plan has a 3-month minimum.
My work is already on Instagram and Houzz. Do I need this?
Those profiles show your work, but they don’t explain how you work and they aren’t yours. Your site gives the work a home you own, and your profiles point to it.
Most of my clients come from referrals. Why a site?
Keep them coming. A referred client still looks at your work before calling, and it’s better if they see it organized, with context, on your own site.
Will it work with the tools we already use?
Yes. Each project can link to your Houzz and Instagram profiles, and inquiries land in your email or the CRM you already use. A custom system is quoted separately.
How long does it take?
A new site or a redesign of your current one takes about a month, depending on its size. If you’re starting with a few projects and need something simpler, our Launch site is ready in 2 to 3 weeks.
Should I publish my fees?
You don’t need to list amounts. It’s enough to explain how fees are calculated and what each phase includes, so clients arrive knowing what a project involves.
Do you also build custom software?
Yes: a fee estimator by project type, a client portal with drawings and weekly site photos, or a tracker for permits across jurisdictions. That’s a separate conversation and a separate quote, apart from the site.
