Marketing for escape rooms: your next group is already looking for something to do.
Tonight someone types “team building escape room near me” and picks a place in a minute. We help them choose you.

Chapter 1
An ordinary Wednesday at your escape rooms.
Saturday is sold out. Today, most slots are empty, and the people who ask don’t quite book.
-
9:40 AMEmail We have 20 people for a team outing. Can you run rooms side by side?
Someone has to check which rooms fit and price it out. The reply goes out that night. They’ve already booked elsewhere.
-
12:30 PMMissed call Which room is best for first-timers?
You’re resetting a room. You call back at 3 PM. They booked at a place that explained it online.
-
4:15 PMText Is the haunted room too scary for a 12-year-old?
You answer between games. By then the parents picked a room that spelled it out on its site.
-
7:00 PMBooking system Booked: 6 players, 7:30 PM.
They never show and never call: they forgot. The slot can’t be resold at the last minute.
-
11:00 PMEnd of day 4 groups that went elsewhere or didn’t show.
Tomorrow starts the same way.
None of them were bad groups. Another venue just answered first.
Chapter 2
Meanwhile, on the other side of the screen.
Megan is 36, works in HR and has to plan an outing for her team of 20. This is how she looks for you:
She searches on GoogleFrom her couch, at 9:30 PM, with tomorrow’s meeting on her mind. She sees three options.
She opens your siteShe looks for whether 20 people can play together and how to get a quote. She only finds the booking calendar.
She goes backThe venue across town shows how many can play and how the outing works, and asks for the details to quote. You never hear about it.

Chapter 3
The same night, with your new site.
Megan runs the same search. This time, your site has a page made for her.
She finds you for what she needsShe lands on your team building page, not your home page.
She gets her answersShe sees how many can play, how the outing works and that weekdays are open. She knows what to ask for.
She requests a quote at 9:52 PMIn the morning you have the date, headcount and extras. You reply before the first game.

That’s what we do: the company that searches at night ends up on your weekday calendar, not the one across town.

Marketing for escape rooms that fills your weekday slots
Saturdays sell out, but weekdays have gaps and corporate requests go cold in your inbox. We build your new site and work your Google profile so each room shows up when groups search, and they book or request a quote without back-and-forth.

What escape room owners tell us.
What we hear from escape room owners, and what a new site changes.
-
“Sales are down and weekday slots sit empty”
What it costs youOwners around the country report that sales are down, and 48% of the facilities ever added to the industry’s directory have closed (Room Escape Artist, 2025).
What changes with your new sitePages for the people who play on weekdays: companies, schools, afternoon birthdays and visitors. The site doesn’t create demand from nothing; it finds it where it already exists. -
“When people search for an escape room, they find the others”
What it costs youWord of mouth is still “one of our most powerful tools,” as one operator put it, but it doesn’t fill a Tuesday (Sherlocked).
What changes with your new siteA page per room, with no spoilers: theme, difficulty, group size and who it’s for. Each room gets found, not only your brand. -
“Groups book, forget and never show”
What it costs youSlots that can’t be resold at the last minute, and hours spent on calls and messages.
What changes with your new siteThe booking system you already use, one tap from each room, with deposit and cancellation rules in plain words. -
“Corporate and birthday requests go cold”
What it costs youThey’re your highest-ticket bookings, and if the reply is slow or unclear, they pick another option.
What changes with your new sitePages for team building and birthdays with capacity, options and photos, and a form that asks for headcount, date and extras.
Our own review
We checked 9 escape room websites: here is what a group sees
On November 4, 2026 we opened 9 U.S. escape room websites and noted what a group looking for something to do finds.
- 6 of 9have no contact or event form, so corporate requests go by phone or email.
- 6 of 9show no reviews from groups who already played.
- 5 of 9don’t show a price per player before booking.

How we work with escape room owners
Three steps, with dates.
Diagnosis in 2 days
We review your site, your Google profile and the venues near you, and tell you what’s leaving slots empty. Included in the plan.
New site or redesign in about a month
A page per room, one for team building and birthdays, and booking one tap away. It stays in your name.
Every month, on Google
We work your profile and your pages, and show you the bookings and corporate requests the site brought in.
A real case
Broadwayfina: 61 musicals, each with its own page
For a musical theatre outlet we built a custom site, with one page per show and directions for each theatre. It’s the same base we would use to give each room its own page, with photos, difficulty and booking.

- 61
- musicals published with their own page
- 64
- theatres with directions
- 2 weeks
- from kickoff to a live site

Marketing for escape rooms: questions before you hire us
The ones escape room owners ask most.
How much does it cost?
We set the price after the diagnosis, which is included and takes 2 business days, based on your rooms, locations and booking system. The site is billed 50% up front and 50% on delivery, and the monthly plan has a 3-month minimum.
I already have Bookeo or Resova with a booking page. Why a site?
The booking page works for people who already decided. The site is what gets you found and chosen when groups search for something to do, and it leads to that same booking page.
If I show too much, won’t I spoil the rooms?
We show the setting, theme and difficulty, never the puzzles. You decide with us what people see and what stays for the game.
Should the site explain safety?
Yes, in plain words: doors that open, a game master watching and marked exits. Codes depend on your city, so we never promise anything your permits don’t back up, and review requests carry no rewards, as the FTC requires.
How long does it take?
A new site or a redesign of your current one takes about a month, depending on how many rooms you have. If you want to start simple, our Launch site is ready in 2 to 3 weeks.
Will it work with my booking software?
Yes. Each room’s booking button links to Bookeo, Resova, FareHarbor, Xola or whatever you run, so slots and payments stay in one place. A custom system is quoted separately.
Do you also build custom software?
Yes: an event quote builder that puts together the proposal, online gift vouchers with codes, or a dashboard of occupancy by room and time slot. That’s a separate conversation and a separate quote, apart from the site.
