Editorial calendar
The plan of what gets published, where and when, agreed far enough ahead that nothing is written the morning it goes out.
Its real job is not organisation, it is quality. Content decided on the day is content written under time pressure by whoever happened to be free, and it reads that way.
A working calendar holds more than dates: the pillar each post belongs to, who is writing it, who approves it, and what it is for. Without that last column a calendar fills up with posts nobody can explain the purpose of.
Plan in weeks and review in months. Planned further out it stops reflecting what is actually happening; reviewed more often than that and there is not enough evidence to review.
