Map pack position
Tracked from a grid of points across your service area. Proximity changes the result and an average hides it.
Win the map pack in the neighborhoods where your customers actually are
Someone typing “SEO agency near me” or “plomero Palermo” is already choosing. Local SEO is the work of being the business they choose: a Google Business Profile that answers before they click, reviews that outweigh the competition, and a page for each area you actually serve that says something true about that area.
We will run your profile and your top local queries and show you where you actually appear
One page per place, or none. The temptation with local SEO is to publish fifty near-identical pages with the neighborhood name swapped in. Google has been demoting exactly that since 2012, and it is the fastest way to make a site look thin. We publish an area page when there is something true to say about that area, and this site enforces it: a location with no copy of its own stays out of the sitemap and renders no local section.
CABA, the Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires, is one local market on paper and about fifteen in practice. Three million people live inside the Avenida General Paz and another two million commute in on a working day, and the fifteen comunas they move between behave differently enough in search that a single city-wide strategy is usually the wrong instrument. The first useful question for a business here is not how to rank in Buenos Aires. It is which part of Buenos Aires it actually trades in.
City-wide queries are a real category and they are not the easy ones. “Marketing agency Buenos Aires”, “contador CABA”, “estudio jurídico Buenos Aires” carry serious volume and are contested by everyone in the city at once, including firms with fifteen years of domain history behind them. They are worth pursuing when a business genuinely serves the whole city and can show it, and worth ignoring when it does not: a clinic in Caballito that reaches fourth place for a city term gets calls from Mataderos and Saavedra, and books almost none of them.
Most of it is decided in the map pack, and at city scale that behaves in a way people find counterintuitive. Google re-centers local results on the person searching rather than on the city, so there is no single ranking to hold: a business visible from Palermo can be absent from Flores for the same query on the same day. Coverage radius, not position, is the number that matters, and it is bought with a Google Business Profile that is complete, reviewed and genuinely maintained, plus pages that say something specific about where the work happens.
The commercial mix is wide even for a capital. Professional services and finance concentrate in the north-east corridor, gastronomy and retail run through the center and the north, health clusters around Recoleta and Belgrano, and industry and logistics sit in the south. Those sectors do not search alike. Professional services are researched over weeks and decided on reputation; gastronomy and retail are decided in two minutes on a phone three blocks away. The same budget on the same keywords produces very different results depending on which of the two a business is.
We work with clients across the whole of CABA, on site or remotely, and with businesses in Gran Buenos Aires that sell into the city.
Profile first, because it is where the traffic already is. The pages come once there is something worth sending people to.
Where you rank today from different points on the map, and what your profile is missing against the businesses beating you.
Categories, services, attributes, photos, hours and NAP consistency: the parts that decide ranking before any content exists.
One per neighborhood you genuinely serve, each with copy that could not survive a find-and-replace on the place name.
A routine for asking, a routine for answering, and monthly tracking by area so you can see the map move.
Local is the easiest channel to measure honestly, because most of the actions are discrete events rather than sessions.
Tracked from a grid of points across your service area. Proximity changes the result and an average hides it.
The three actions a profile actually produces, counted per month and attributed to the queries that caused them.
How fast reviews arrive and where you sit against the businesses in the same pack, which is often the real ranking constraint.
Tell us the areas you serve and we will tell you which are winnable and which are not worth the budget
Every Local SEO engagement starts with the Google Business Profile, because that is where the map pack settles most clicks. In week one we review categories, services, hours, photos and review history against the three businesses that hold the pack for your main query, checked from several points of your service area.
Then we crawl the site with Screaming Frog to find what holds the area pages back: duplicated or empty titles, pages with no internal links and LocalBusiness schema without a full address. We validate that markup in the Rich Results Test and the templates in PageSpeed Insights, since most local searches happen on a phone.
Search Console tells us which combinations of area and service already earn impressions. Those get a page first.
Each month you get a report with the KPIs that matter locally: map pack position by area, calls, direction requests, messages and qualified leads from the area pages.
Todo Service Hogar repairs home appliances in Buenos Aires. We designed a content architecture in WordPress with ACF that turns its 8 services and 59 areas of the city into indexable pages.
In 12 months the site reached 67.6K search impressions, 529 indexed pages and more than 1,000 queries ranking. It also answers in ChatGPT, Copilot and Gemini. The full story is in the Todo Service Hogar case study.
If your customers buy from anywhere in the country and location does not change what they search, the map pack carries little weight for your business. Start with SEO 360°, which covers technical health, content and authority for national demand. If many of your questions already arrive through ChatGPT or Gemini, add AEO once the local base is in place.
We answer the most common questions about our services
Not necessarily. A service-area business, one that travels to customers rather than receiving them, can rank in the map pack with a hidden address, as long as the service areas are set honestly. What you cannot do is invent an address or rent a mailbox for one; that is the single most reliably penalized thing in local SEO.
As many as you have something distinct to say about. Ten pages that name real streets, real competition and real customer types will outrank fifty that are the same paragraph with the neighborhood swapped. We would rather ship eight good ones this quarter than fifty that make the whole domain look thin.
Profile fixes can move things in weeks, sometimes days, because most profiles are incomplete and the wins are sitting there. Ranking for competitive terms in a dense area like Palermo takes months and depends heavily on review count, which is the part you cannot rush.
Yes. The method is the same anywhere Google shows a map pack. We work across Argentina and with clients in the wider region; what changes per market is how competitive the pack is and how much of the decision happens on the profile versus the site.
It is the same discipline, and this site is the demonstration. Each area we serve gets its own page with copy written for it, and the ones without that copy stay unpublished on purpose. You can see the rule working: the areas with a paragraph are in our sitemap, the rest are not.
Access to your Google Business Profile, Search Console and GA4, plus the list of areas you really serve and your services. With that we run the proximity audit in the first week and show you which areas deserve a page.
We do. Your team reviews each one to add local details we cannot know from outside, such as the streets you cover or the problems customers mention most, and we publish once those details are right.
Map pack position by area, calls, direction requests, messages, qualified leads from the area pages and the decisions for the next month, each with its reason.
