Four jobs, one account

What running a social account actually consists of, and why splitting the four across different people is where most of them go wrong.

01

The four parts, in the order they feed each other

Content gives people something worth following, community management answers the ones who do, paid buys reach for whatever already works, and the reporting decides where next month goes.

02

Content: one idea, three shapes

A reel, a carousel and a feed post are not the same picture at three sizes. Each format is made for the thing it is going on.

03

Community: answering while it still counts

The value of a reply falls away within hours. Answering while the thread is live is what turns a comment into a customer.

04

Paid: the creative does the targeting

Several ideas go out on equal budget. Within a few weeks almost all of the spend sits behind the one that earned it.

05

Reporting: the numbers that are not vanity

Impressions and follower counts are easy to grow and easy to ignore. We report saves, profile visits, conversations and bookings.

What matters for businesses in CABA

CABA, the Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires, is one local market on paper and about fifteen in practice. Three million people live inside the Avenida General Paz and another two million commute in on a working day, and the fifteen comunas they move between behave differently enough in search that a single city-wide strategy is usually the wrong instrument. The first useful question for a business here is not how to rank in Buenos Aires. It is which part of Buenos Aires it actually trades in.

City-wide queries are a real category and they are not the easy ones. “Marketing agency Buenos Aires”, “contador CABA”, “estudio jurídico Buenos Aires” carry serious volume and are contested by everyone in the city at once, including firms with fifteen years of domain history behind them. They are worth pursuing when a business genuinely serves the whole city and can show it, and worth ignoring when it does not: a clinic in Caballito that reaches fourth place for a city term gets calls from Mataderos and Saavedra, and books almost none of them.

Most of it is decided in the map pack, and at city scale that behaves in a way people find counterintuitive. Google re-centers local results on the person searching rather than on the city, so there is no single ranking to hold: a business visible from Palermo can be absent from Flores for the same query on the same day. Coverage radius, not position, is the number that matters, and it is bought with a Google Business Profile that is complete, reviewed and genuinely maintained, plus pages that say something specific about where the work happens.

The commercial mix is wide even for a capital. Professional services and finance concentrate in the north-east corridor, gastronomy and retail run through the center and the north, health clusters around Recoleta and Belgrano, and industry and logistics sit in the south. Those sectors do not search alike. Professional services are researched over weeks and decided on reputation; gastronomy and retail are decided in two minutes on a phone three blocks away. The same budget on the same keywords produces very different results depending on which of the two a business is.

What we see here

  • Fifteen comunas and forty-eight neighborhoods that behave as separate local markets under one city name
  • City-wide terms are high volume and high competition, and only worth the budget for businesses that serve the whole city
  • Results re-center on the person searching, so coverage radius matters more than any single ranking position
  • A large daily commuting population makes weekday and weekend search behavior diverge sharply
  • Google Business Profile completeness and review velocity decide most local queries before a site is opened at all
  • Spanish-language search dominates, with English queries concentrated in tourism, technology and B2B services

We work with clients across the whole of CABA, on site or remotely, and with businesses in Gran Buenos Aires that sell into the city.

How we actually do it

Every account starts with an onboarding call and an audit of what is already published. We go through the last few months in the native analytics of Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn to see which formats people save, share and comment on, and we connect your accounts to Meta Business Suite so publishing, the inbox and reporting live in one place.

From there we build a monthly content calendar that you approve before anything goes out. Our team works remotely, so when a piece needs footage from your business we send a shot guide: which scenes to film, in which orientation and from which angle, so anyone on your team can record it with a phone.

  • Month 1: audit, tone of voice and visual guidelines, the first calendar and working access to Meta Business Suite and each platform.
  • Month 2: publishing and community management running every working day, plus the first paid tests on the formats that already perform organically.
  • Month 3: we compare saves, shares, reach and inquiries against month 1 and drop the formats that did not earn their place.

The monthly report covers each network separately: the best and worst posts, the inquiries that came through social and what changes in next month’s calendar. Abril, who leads social media at North Blue, reviews every report before it reaches you.

A real example

For Vinnie Fisher, founder and CEO of SiteTrust, we ran LinkedIn as the main channel of a repositioning, from leadership mentor to a reference voice on AI trust. Over 12 months we published 245 original posts across text, carousels, captioned video and newsletter articles, built on three content pillars at close to one post per business day.

Those posts drew 2,949 reactions and 1,016 comments. Monthly engagement reviews showed that regulation and breaking news drove the most conversation, so the calendar leaned into both. See the Vinnie Fisher case study.

What we check before calling it done

  • You approve the calendar before the month starts.
  • Every post is made for its network’s format and size, never resized from another one.
  • Captions are proofread and follow the tone of voice guide we agreed with you.
  • Links in the bio and in posts open the right page and carry UTM parameters.
  • Comments and messages have an owner and an agreed response window.
  • Analytics access works on every network, so the report uses native data.
  • Anything that needs your sign-off, such as prices or promotions, is flagged before publishing.

When it is not the right service

If you only need someone to answer comments and messages while your team produces the content, Community Management on its own is the leaner option.

If your goal is sales next month and your accounts are starting from zero, paid reach comes first: Social Ads puts an offer in front of buyers while the organic side builds.

And if your buyers search before they scroll, as with many B2B services and local repairs, your budget will go further in SEO.

Questions about Social Media Management in CABA

We answer the most common questions about our services

Which social networks do you focus on?

We work mainly on Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok. We select the most relevant platforms according to your target audience and business type.

Do you create all visual content?

Yes, our creative team develops all visual content including posts, stories, short videos, and carousels, maintaining consistency with your brand identity.

Do you reply to comments and messages?

Absolutely. Our community management includes responding to comments, direct messages, and community management during established hours.

Who approves the posts before they go out?

You do. We send the full monthly calendar for approval before the month starts, and any later change is confirmed with you before it is published.

How do you work with us if your team is remote?

Through the shared calendar, Meta Business Suite and one agreed channel for approvals. When a post needs footage from your business, we send a shot guide so anyone on your team can record it with a phone.

How soon will we see results?

Engagement signals such as saves and shares move first, followed by reach. Inquiries take longer and depend on how often you publish and whether paid reach supports the content, so we set expectations per network in month 1.
